Four new faces in the squad proved to be decisive in their 1-0 win.

A well taken fifteenth minute Kevin Leadbetter goal from a Seftom Gonzales flicked on header sees Kendal Town record there first home league win of the season.

Grantham pushed for an equalizer but Rory Winters and Paul Alexander made some good head clearances to keep them at bay.

Chances for Gonzales and Amis failed to trouble the Grantham keeper.

Paul Grimes hit the post just before the break.

Substitute Connor Higginson brought a good save from Kendal keeper Craig Dootson midway through the second half as Grantham pushed for an equaliser.

Kendal tried to put the game beyond Grantham but efforts from Leadbetter, Mason and Gonzales failed to trouble the Grantham keeper.
