Kendal Town 1-2 Workington
Workington took the lead on 18 minutes when a cross is delivered from a corner and centre half Kyle May headed it down and beyond keeper Craig Dootson.
Kendal Towns best chance of the first half came when Kenworthy flicked the ball on to Wisdom who knocked it down to Alex Taylor and his shot struck the post and bounced into the hands of the keeper.
A chance came for Kendal Town in the arly stages of the second half when Danny Wisdom chases the ball down the left and manages to get the ball down the line to Kenworthy under pressure from a Workington defender, Kenworthy then crosses the ball in to Leadbetter who got it tangled underneath his feet and he plays the ball to Wisdom who plays the ball to El-Harrati whos shot goes over.
Workington made it 2-0 on 71 minutes again from a setpiece. The ball came in towards the back post and May got a touch and El-Harrati misjudges his clearance and puts the ball on the underside of the bar and into the net.
Kendal Town got one back 10 minutes before the end of the game when a long throw from Kendal Captain Marc Joseph missed two defenders and fell to Cowperthwaite and he didn't connect with his header well and the ball looped into the top corner past the Workington keeper
Star Man - Danny Wisdom, Chased all lost causes and showed that he can play in more than one position at a high standard.
