KendalTown.com previews tonight's Lancashire FA Trophy Semi-Final at Leyland against Radcliffe Borough.
Kendal Town tonight take on Radcliffe Borough in the Lancashire FA Trophy Semi-Final, with a final at Premier League Bolton Wanderers' Reebok Stadium up for grabs for the victors.
After overcoming Clitheroe, Padiham and AFC Fylde to get to this point Town must overcome Radcliffe Borough to make it to the final. The Boro have overcome two Conference National sides in Fleetwood Town and Barrow to set up tonight's clash so Manager Lee Ashcroft knows it will be a big test for his side.
"They are a talented side with an excellent work rate. We will have to be at our very best throughout to make sure we get the result we want."
"We have been working extremely well in training and in the games recently. Me and the lads want to carry on the fine form we have managed to produce into tonight's game and beyond."
Turning his attention to the fans, Lee added:
"At our recent League Cup fixture away at Lancaster City the fans were first class and made a real racket. I would like to encourage them to make even more of a noise tonight, this is when the fans can make a massive difference."
Gary McEvatt is expected to face a late fitness test this afternoon after showing the early signs of a hernia, whilst Mark Jackson will miss tonight's game.
Tonight's game kicks off at 7:45pm. Admission is £8 for adults and £4 for U-16s. Directions to the County Ground at Leyland can be found on the website of the Lancashire FA by clicking here.
Those supporters who are on the Fans Coach for tonight's game are encouraged to arrive early for the 6pm departure time. The coach will depart from The Cosyseal Stadium and return to the ground after the match. The prices are £5 for U-16s and £10 for adults. Please note that no alcohol is permitted on the Fans Coach.
