10-man Kendal Town battle to a draw with Whitby in the freezing mists of East Yorkshire, after taking the lead through Mark Jackson the hosts equalised just before half time through Jimmy Beadle.
Kendal Town had to settle for a point on their travels to Whitby Town after the hosts Jimmy Beadle levelled shortly before half time.
The game took its time to get going with neither side able to gain the upper hand.
On eight minutes the ball fell to Ashley Dunn on the edge of the box when a Whitby defender missed a Danny Williams cross but his effort was weak and was easily collected by Nick Liversegde.
Whitby had the better of the exchanges in the opening half hour with Jamie Clark and Andy Appleby linking up well but efforts from 20 yards rarely troubled Craig Dootson.
It was Kendal though that took the lead on 28 minutes when Mark Jackson escaped his marker to head a Donnelly cross beyond Liversedge.
Just when it looked like Town would take a 1-0 lead into the break Beadle headed home a corner on 44 minutes.
In the second half neither side created much but Whitby could have won the game late on when Appleby squared to sub Matty Tymon but he put his strike over the top.
And just as the game moved into injury time Danny Williams was shown a second yellow card for pulling down Tom Portas but the hosts couldn’t capitalise and the points were shared.
